Come join your fellow Notre Dame Club of St. Louis Members on Saturday, January 23rd from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. as we volunteer at the St. Louis Crisis Nurseries. The Crisis Nursery is 24 hour care for children newborn through age 12 whose families are experiencing a crisis such as homelessness, domestic violence, illness, or overwhelming stress. Please join us in giving these kiddos some one-on-one attention. As an added bonus, those Spartans from the Michigan State Club of St. Louis will be joining us as well. The St. Louis Crisis Nursery has 4 locations where you can volunteer. I have listed the locations, number of volunteers needed at each location, and addresses. After volunteering at the different locations, we will all meet up at the Trainwreck Saloon in Westport at 12:30. They will have the back room all for us. We can talk about our service experience over lunch and have more time for camraderie with the MSU group. Hope you can join us! A very big thank to all of the volunteers who came out on Saturday, May 2, to work on Marie Whitcomb's home, through our partner organization Rebuilding Together. If you've never been to a Rebuilding Together work day, please consider coming next year, it's an experience you will not soon forget!

Our current implementation of the Program includes only the Emergency Care program but we are planning to expand to other elements in the future. Here’s how it works: The club management has a list of club members who have willingly volunteered to provide occasional support in various fields, such as transportation, housing, visitations, medical/professional advice.
