This month's live, Interactive Broadcast (also available through archival video) For many people finding life balance and reducing stress is a life quest that seems quite elusive. As Christians we are encouraged to apply best practices that can help us with this fundamental need. But we are also called to a deeper meaning to achieve life harmony. By incorporating Gospel priorities into our program, we will explore core beliefs and practices that will rejuvenate our sense of peace. Moderator: Panelists: Ann M. Firth’81 ‘84J.D. is the associate vice president for student affairs at the University of Notre Dame. She has played a leading policy role on a wide variety of student life issues. This fall she was a discussant at the second annual Blessed Basil Moreau Lecture. Ann and her husband, John, are the parents of five children. Kathleen M. Sullivan ’82 M.A., ’87 Ph.D., Spirituality Programs Director for the Alumni Association and overseer of pray.nd.edu, will manage the on-line comments and questions Sunday, February 21 at 10:30 am Please let us know if you have any loved ones deployed with the military by emailing Meghan White at meghanlwhite@EARTHLINK.NET and we will include them in our prayers. We pray for a peaceful resolution to world conflict and the ability for all people to live in harmony regardless of color, race, creed or religious belief. We pray for victims of oppression and the liberation of those who are forced to submit to the will of an individual or state. God, Country, Notre Dame does not promote nor does it endorse violence as a means for attaining world peace and stability. It does however, call on members of the Notre Dame family to unite in prayerful vigilance for the expedient resolution of world conflict, and when necessary for the safety and protection of those who are asked to defend our freedom with their lives. It further empowers our alumni and friends to render tangible support to the individuals and their families, who may endure hardships as a result of their duties. Pray at Notre DamePray at ND from wherever you are! www.pray.nd.edu For many, the University of Notre Dame is a sacred place where people from all ages draw strength to love, to suffer in hope, to find faith in challenge, to discover their path, and ultimately, to remember their purpose. Pray at ND is our effort to bring the spiritual resources of our Lady's University to you. I hope that this Web site is a tool that inspires your prayer life and helps you to be present for good in your community, your home, your work place, and the world. Rev.
